Job Description

Purpose/Objective


    The Geologist is responsible for conducting geological studies and providing expert insights to support exploration and mining activities. This role involves collecting and analyzing geological data, interpreting rock formations, and developing geological models that guide resource identification and extraction. The Geologist ensures compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements while delivering accurate and actionable geological information to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities of Role


    - Geological Surveys and Fieldwork: Conducting surveys, mapping, and collecting samples (soil, rock, water). - Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analyzing collected data, geological maps, and other information to assess resource potential (e.g., Surfer, ArcGIS, Leapfrog, Surpac, Minex, Datamine & Vulcan). - Resource Evaluation: Determining the viability and economic value of resource deposits. - Collaboration: Working with engineers, and other stakeholders. - Report Writing and Presentation: Preparing detailed reports and presentations on findings. - Geological Knowledge: Strong understanding of stratigraphy, sedimentology, structural geology, and ore deposit types. - Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify potential issues, and develop solutions. - Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with others in a collaborative environment.

    Geological Data Analysis,Geological Mapping & Modeling (Resource Estimation),Field Exploration Techniques,Geostatistical Analysis & Regulatory Compliance & Reporting

Qualifications and Experience


    M.Sc./M.Tech. in Geology/Applied Geology with 5+ years experience in relevant field
