A Sr. project geologist is urgently required to identify viable base metal deposits, manage green field, brown field exploration projects while reporting to the Exploration Manager/Unit Head. He/she will assist the exploration manager to develop exploration programs and putting systems in place to optimise the exploration process. Job Description Key responsibilities include but not limited to the following: Identifying new viable opportunities leading to acquisition in Nigeria. Conducting desk-top and due-diligence studies. Undertaking regional and deposit scale geological mapping, geochemical sampling to assess mineral potential. Planning and implementation of resource definition activities, including RC & Diamond drilling, QAQC protocols and conducting pre-feasibility, feasibility study.
