Role Summary: Associate Business Manager - Marketplace will lead and manage the agency’s presence across various e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, and Quick Commerce channels. This role involves developing business strategies, overseeing platform-specific operations, driving traffic, optimizing conversions, and meeting KPIs while collaborating closely with clients and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Management & Strategy:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for each marketplace (Amazon, Flipkart, Quick Commerce) to drive business growth.
- Manage all listing, campaign, and content management activities, ensuring products are optimally displayed and achieve maximum visibility.
- Oversee account health and marketplace compliance, managing seller ratings and feedback.
- Traffic & Conversion Optimization:
- Utilize SEO, PPC, and digital marketing tactics to increase traffic and conversion rates on marketplace platforms.
- Identify and implement targeted promotional strategies, including Amazon Sponsored Products, Flipkart Ads, and Quick Commerce promotions.
- Conduct data analysis to refine strategies, improve performance, and meet or exceed KPIs.
- Campaign & Promotion Management:
- Plan, execute, and manage paid advertising campaigns across platforms to boost product visibility and conversions.
- Develop promotional calendars and identify opportunities to leverage marketplace tools and seasonal trends for optimal sales growth.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Serve as the primary contact for all marketplace activities, maintaining clear communication and alignment with client expectations.
- Build strong client relationships, facilitating cross-selling and up-selling opportunities by demonstrating marketplace expertise.
- Provide regular reports and performance updates, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Regularly analyze sales data and campaign performance, utilizing this data to optimize strategies and report progress.
- Monitor and report on ROAS, traffic trends, customer acquisition costs, and other key metrics.
- Stay updated on marketplace trends, competitor activities, and algorithm changes to ensure strategic alignment.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree - Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in a similar role managing e-commerce platforms, with strong knowledge of Amazon, Flipkart, and/or Quick Commerce.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in PPC, SEO, and analytics tools; experience with attribution modelling, A/B testing, and conversion rate optimization.
