Job overview and responsibilities

The Assoc Analyst – Tooling Long-Term Planning is responsible for providing a strategic tooling allocation for each station based on overall maintenance mission and fleet departure schedule. Works closely with Forecasting team and Tooling Planners to translate aircraft system-level requirements to station allocations. Analyst is also responsible for supporting his/her manager preparing funding proposals, monitoring tooling aircraft forecasts and tracking allocation plan performances, and identifying opportunities for improvement.

• Reviews and validates system-level tooling requirements provided by Forecasting group and provides feedback to fine-tune models
• Consolidates and develops station-level allocation recommendations using AI and advanced forecasting techiniques and works hand-in-hand with Tooling Planners to create long-term allocations and provide guidance on short-term procurement plans
• Tracks metrics that will support decision-making for improvement of quality and timeliness of station-level allocations (e.g. Tooling OOS events, missed allocation opportunities)
• Supports continuous improvement efforts to further improve and streamline processes and forecast/plan performances
