Traya is an Indian direct-to-consumer hair care platform that provides a holistic treatment for individuals experiencing hair loss. Through personalized consultations, we identify the root cause of hair fall using a combination of Ayurveda, Allopathy, and Nutrition. Our unique diagnostic platform, combined with medically trained hair coaches and proprietary tech, ensures customers receive customized solutions delivered right to their doorstep — and the ongoing guidance they need to stay on track.

Founded by Saloni Anand (techie-turned-marketeer) and Altaf Saiyed (Stanford GSB alumnus), Traya’s mission is to de-stigmatize hair loss, address its emotional and psychological impact, and make effective treatment accessible to all.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End SEO Execution:

  Take full ownership of Traya’s SEO roadmap - not just strategy decks but live execution.

• Editorial SEO Leadership:

  Define topic clusters, own keyword research, prioritise blog briefs, and build content calendars that align with traffic potential and search behaviour.

• Tech SEO Ownership:

  Identify and solve technical gaps - from CWV fixes to sitemap and crawl budget issues. You’ll work directly with the dev team to ensure nothing blocks performance.

• GA4 + GSC Performance Monitoring:

  Set up dashboards, create month-on-month comparisons, track AI Overview inclusion, and diagnose dips before they turn into problems.

• AI Overview & Featured Snippets Optimization:

  Deep-dive into query clusters that get picked up by Google’s AI layers. Test formats, paragraph styles, and structure to improve citation chances.

• On-Page Content Structuring:

  From internal linking logic to heading optimization and live uploads - ensure every published blog or landing page is SEO-optimized before it goes live.

• Backlink & Mention Planning:

  Align with the ORB team and backlink vendors to ensure quality citations and contextual mentions are landing every month - and they’re actually driving relevance.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of hands-on SEO experience - you should’ve ranked sites before, not just managed agencies
• Strong grip on GA4, GSC, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and ideally CMS platforms like Webflow or WordPress
• You understand AI Overview mechanics, have tested formats that work, and know what “structured clarity” means
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with designers, engineers, and brand teams
• You have a bias for execution, can handle velocity, and are okay with being the one held accountable.
