Summary:
• Perform requirement analysis, capture business requirements, understanding technical and functional specifications in detail. • Should act to bridge the gap between IT, development team and business teams • The candidate will be responsible for Review and analyis of system specifications of Foreign Currency Settlement System. • Continuously assess existing product, propose areas of improvement such as in technical design, security updates, functional design, conduct competitive analysis of similar products and segments. • Work with support team members across dierent teams and IT vendors. • Work with functional and technical teams to finalize project scope, software development design and workflow design. • Integrate the updated specifications into the proposed systems architecture and ensure compatibility of systems and software designs. • Should be able to guide the team members and resolve issues on a proactive basis • Provide periodic updates, executive reporting on project status, High Level Design (HLD), Low Level Design (LLD), etc. • Review development and testing deliverables to ensure the completeness of the requirements including implementation of the same. • Monitor lifecycle of the project and evaluate the stakeholders reviews and work on requirements. • Ability to review assigned business processes from end-to-end to identify and address operational, financial and technological risks. • Assist technical team to identify all the limitations and challenges, resolve issues, enable the system for smooth workflow. • Strong problem solving and analytical skills. • Good written and verbal communication skills are must for this position. • Passionate to learn new technologies / tools as required. • Ability to manage the stakeholder relationships and expectations. Manage eective stakeholder communication.
Experience:
• Minimum of 12+ Years’ experience. • Relevant experience of 10+ years in Business requirement mapping, quality analysis and software development lifecycle. - Mandatory • Experience in working in a fast paced, high expectation 24x365 environment. • Experience in banking domain with specific work experience in Payment Systems - Mandatory. • Candidate should have hands on work experience in cross border payment systems and settlement systems. Experience of working on ISO20022 is a must. • Knowledge on banking domain is mandatory. • It is desirable that the candidate have experience on software applications like IBM MQ, Oracle DB, Basic Java, Apache Tomcat, Windows, any one of the UNIX environments (AIX/RHEL), Basics of Network concepts and Basics of PKI framework is desirable. • Experience in MS Project, Strong MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio skills
Knowledge:
• Work Experience in Cross border payment and settlement systems - Mandatory • Knowledge on API and Microservices, various communication protocol, middleware technologies - Desirable • PMP certification added advantage • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues • Ability to learn new technologies • Understanding and Executing of the SQL Statements and Basics of Java - Mandatory • Candidate should have the good understanding of databases • Payments Domain Knowledge for domestic and internation market - Mandatory • Understanding of the regulatory and competitive impacts on Payments
Skills:
• Ability to work independently s: Knowledge of ISO 20022 message formats relating to payments domain - Mandatory PL SQL, Oracle JSP, HTML, Java Scrip, Core Java & J2EE API, any IDE, Restful services Secondary Skills: Understanding of IBM MQ, Unix Scripts, Advance Java,Open source technologies2, Angular JS, Web services
• Should act to bridge the gap between IT and business teams.
• Should be responsible for engaging with business lead and other stakeholders for consolidating functional requirements and document processes. • Should be able to convey the functional requirements to stakeholders, helping them to determine the technical requirements for the work and preparation of Low level design document. • Should be responsible for tracking, managing, and reporting on the progress of the requirements. • Recording of detailed functional requirements provided by business leaders. • Documenting process flows including risk assesment and mitigation plan. • Translating functional requirements into technical requirements. Able to understand the development requirements and effort involved. • Tracking the progress of the project requirements. • Work with program/project managers, product owners, and other team members in providing clarity of requirements and how it relates to the business objectives • Obtain a strong functional understanding of business processes and systems. • Validation and verification of solution and confirmation. • Ability to do independently conduct R & D on various payment system designs and options. • Efficiently communicate to all stakeholders to manage expectations of project in a time bounded fashion. • Ability to constantly ensure necessary risk assessments, monitor proactively addressed all risks in a timely fashion. Provide proper documentation of risks for specific SOW. • Ability to analyse data, prepare good quality presentations and high impact reports for Top Management and various committees. • Ownership of technical and non-technical issues and co-ordination with Cross functional teams for resolving issues. • Involve in root cause and impact analysis. • To ensure applications/software environments are fully maintained with appropriately supported updates, patches and/or service packs in line with system maintenance policies
