Description
As a Scrum Master at M&G Global Services Private Limited, you will play a crucial role in leading Client and Distribution engineering teams to deliver end-to-end data solutions for the business. Your responsibilities include supporting the squad in delivering high-quality deliverables by coordinating across teams in the Client and Distribution Platform, providing clarity and support, and serving as the point of escalation for project-related activities. You will be expected to multi-task and work on multiple complex projects simultaneously. Your key priorities will involve enabling the design and implementation of solutions to support the development of a market-leading Client and Distribution platform to meet the increased demands across investment teams, clients, and regulators. Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities: - Enable the team to provide a quality service or product to customers and stakeholders - Facilitate the squad to deliver change at the required pace and scale for an organization undergoing transformation - Develop a highly motivated, client-focused, and high-performing delivery team - Continuously improve the quality of the team and its individual members, highlighting areas for strengthening and change - Demonstrate a solid understanding of product and business strategy, leading large and/or complex analysis initiatives - Prioritize and organize backlogs to ensure early delivery of value, documenting and accepting operational processes - Provide transparency to Product Owners, the Leadership team, and Stakeholders regularly - Deliver actionable updates and metrics for better steering the squad - Create a seamless process for delivery, releases, and planning exercises in conjunction with your peers - Deliver and maintain delivery plans and timelines to stakeholders - Anticipate and mitigate risks and issues with delivery, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement - Collaborate with business peers and management to achieve the right outcomes - Support the team in making effective decisions, escalating delivery and operational risks to the management team The ideal candidate will: - Inspire the team to deliver exceptional performance by connecting the purpose of their work beyond the bottom line impact - Operate with authenticity and integrity, encouraging others to do the same - Develop strong relationships with the team, empowering, stretching, and supporting them to develop - Encourage creative and collaborative problem-solving, questioning the status quo - Invite diverse views and provide positive challenge - Be curious about customers" needs and adapt to changing environments - Drive continuous improvement personally and via the team - Simplify complexity, prioritize people before process, and recognize the perspectives of customers and colleagues - Set clear priorities and expectations for the team and make bold, decisive decisions - Ensure the team operates in a customer-focused, commercial, and efficient manner, delivering against targets - Provide timely feedback, hold yourself and the team accountable, and oversee operational delivery Knowledge & Skills: - Proven project management and Scrum Master expertise - Strong experience in Agile and DevOps - Experience in data solutions, system integration, platform upgrades, and migration - Working experience with global application development and support teams - Strong interpersonal, coaching, and mentoring skills - Analytical skills and problem-solving abilities - Experience in delivery resource estimation and people leadership - Excellent customer and stakeholder management skills - Attention to detail, ability to prioritize, and work efficiently to meet deadlines - Experience with Cloud solutions, preferably Azure Desirable Knowledge & Skills: - Exposure to financial markets and asset management processes - Understanding of client and distribution processes Educational Qualification: - Graduate in any discipline Experience: - 12+ years of total experience in software development - 5+ years of experience in delivering outcomes for large programs/projects in the BFSI space - 3+ years of experience working as a Scrum Master, including onshore, offshore, and nearshore environments,
