The Applications Support Senior Analyst position at Citi requires a seasoned professional with in-depth disciplinary knowledge to contribute to the development of new techniques and processes. You will also be expected to assess risks, escalate production issues, and participate in application releases from development to deployment into production. As an Applications Support Senior Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of work provided by yourself and others, impacting your team and closely related work teams. Your ability to exercise independence of judgment, act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to senior stakeholders, and provide evaluative judgment in complicated situations will be crucial to your success in this role. Additionally, you will be expected to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, exchange complex information, and serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts. To qualify for this position, you must have 8-12 years of experience in an Application Support role, with strong hands-on experience in UNIX and SQL. Expertise in monitoring/batch scheduling tools like ITRS, Autosys, and Service NOW is required, along with knowledge of programming languages like Java/Python. Candidates with experience in installing, configuring, or supporting business applications, as well as demonstrated analytical skills and effective communication abilities, will be preferred. You will be expected to operate with a limited level of direct supervision, exercise autonomy, and assess risks when making business decisions to safeguard Citigroup, its clients, and assets. Your ability to drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, apply sound ethical judgment, and escalate control issues with transparency will be essential in this role.
