Assistant Vice President

As an Assistant Vice President (Secretarial Department) based in Mumbai, you should hold a qualification as a Qualified Company Secretary with an age limit of 40 years. You are required to have a solid background with 10-12 years of experience in handling the Secretarial matters of listed companies. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in listed companies. Your role will involve various responsibilities including Corporate Governance, Regulatory Compliance, Shareholder Relations, Record Keeping and Documentation, and an Advisory Role. You will be expected to advise the Board on corporate governance practices, prepare agendas for meetings, ensure compliance with laws and regulations, maintain shareholder relations, keep accurate records, and act as the point of contact for governance, compliance, and legal matters. To excel in this role, you should possess extensive knowledge of corporate law, governance, and compliance, along with experience in a similar role within a corporate environment. Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills are essential, as well as the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. A strong understanding of corporate governance principles, proficiency in legal and regulatory requirements related to corporate compliance, excellent drafting and communication skills, attention to detail, and the capability to work independently and as part of a team are also crucial.
