Assistant Special Needs Educator

We are seeking a compassionate Assistant Special Needs Educator to join our Montessori learning environment. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to supporting children with diverse learning needs, ensuring an inclusive and nurturing space that aligns with Montessori principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the special educator in supporting children with diverse learning needs.
• Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in line with Montessori principles.
• Provide one-on-one and group support during classroom activities.
• Observe and document student progress and behavior.
• Encourage practical life skills and independence in children.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
• Coordinate with teachers, therapists, and parents as needed.
• Participate in training to learn Montessori methods and special education practices
• Coordinate with teachers and parents as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in any stream.
• Freshers with keen interest in Special Education and a passion for teaching are welcome to apply.
• Experience working with children with learning differences, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), sensory processing disorders, or other special needs is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of child development and behavior management strategies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for inclusive education.
