Assistant Sales Manager

As the Assistant Sales Manager for our 4 Star Resort in Ooty, your primary role will be to develop and implement sales strategies, identify new business opportunities, and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. Your responsibilities will include: - Responsible for Corporate and Travel Agent Room Sales for the hotel. - Setting goals and action plans in line with the hotel's business strategies. - Identifying new markets and business opportunities to increase sales. - Representing the hotel in various events and exhibitions. - Conducting daily sales calls and arranging site inspection trips for corporate clients. - Providing quick and timely responses to clients and developing long-term business relationships. - Participating in sales calls with the team to acquire new business and ensure customer satisfaction. - Supporting hotel service and relationship strategy to drive customer loyalty. - Working closely with the Revenue Manager to ensure rate negotiations meet financial needs. - Developing relationships with on-property teams to achieve common goals. - Assessing training needs based on sales team interactions and data. - Building and strengthening relationships with existing and potential customers. - Acquiring and developing new business accounts and preparing sales proposals. - Following up on all business leads within a 24-hour response time.
