Job Description: Assistant Sales Manager

Experience: 2+ years, within *media, PR, or related industries
Local language: *Must be familiar with local language (Karnataka state)

Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive Assistant Sales Manager to be based at our Bengaluru co-working office in Indiranagar. You will manage a client portfolio, drive new business growth, and consistently meet sales and revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. New Business Development

  • Identify and target new prospective clients in the Bengaluru market
  • Generate and nurture a high-quality sales pipeline
  • Develop creative pitch strategies to win new deals

2. Revenue & Collections

  • Meet or exceed individual revenue targets each quarter
  • Ensure timely invoicing and follow-up on payments
  • Maintain healthy receivables and escalations as needed

3. Client Servicing & Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Clearly understand and manage the scope of work
  • Deliver presentations, proposals, and progress reports
  • Ensure execution of activities aligns with internal processes

4. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain CRM records and update status reports
  • Prepare performance dashboards and dashboards for senior leadership
  • Document all client discussions, proposals, and agreements

5. Team Collaboration & Adaptability

  • Partner with Delivery, Strategy, and Operations teams to ensure smooth execution
  • Be flexible to adapt to changing client priorities and tight deadlines
  • Actively contribute to team strategy and problem solving

Qualifications & Competencies

  • Experience: 2+ years in sales, ideally within media, PR, or related industries
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills in English (and Kannada, if possible)
  • Networking: Strong local networks in Bengaluru across media, corporate, or agency sectors
  • Presentation: Confident delivering pitches and proposals to senior stakeholders
  • Mindset: Go-getter attitude with a passion for hunting new business
  • Attention to Detail: High accuracy and follow-up orientation in all deliverables
  • Adaptability: Comfortable managing shifting priorities and multiple client profiles
