Job Description

Assistant Sales

You will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets for rooms, events, packages, etc.
  • Generating new business leads through corporate clients, travel agents, tour operators, DMCs, event planners, and other relevant channels.
  • Maintaining and nurturing relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business & referrals.
  • Conducting site inspections, sales calls, client meetings, and follow ups to convert leads into confirmed bookings.
  • Preparing proposals, quotations, and contracts; negotiating rates and terms in coordination with Sales Manager.
  • Monitoring competitor activities, market trends and providing feedback for improving offerings and pricing.
  • Collaborating with other departments (front office, events, food & beverage, operations) to ensure seamless execution of events and guest expectations.
  • Managing and tracking sales pipelines, forecasting, and reporting performance metrics.
  • Representing Lore Resort at trade shows, exhibitions, networking events.
  • Ensuring all sales communications (emails, presentations, visits) reflect the brands ethos and high standards

Preferred candidate profile

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in hospitality/resort sales or relevant field.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent presentation and client servicing skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
  • Good understanding of the hospitality market, competition, pricing strategies.
  • Selfmotivated, goaloriented, with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CRM tools or booking/order tracking systems is a plus.
  • Flexibility to travel for client meetings, events etc., if required.
