Position Title: Sales Manager - Sales & Business Development Department: Sales and Business Development

Industry: Lift and Elevator Installation, Maintenance, and Servicing Location: Bangalore / Any

Reporting To: General Manager / Director

Purpose of the Role: To drive revenue growth by leading the sales and business development efforts, identifying new business opportunities, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring the achievement of organizational goals in the lift and elevator industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities, including residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, consultants, and developers.
  • Oversee the preparation of proposals, quotations, and tenders.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design promotional campaigns and strategies.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adapt strategies.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, including training and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards in all sales activities.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for management review.

  • Strong knowledge of the lift and elevator industry, including technical and market aspects.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • MBA in Sales or Marketing (preferred).

Experience:

  • 10-20 years of experience in sales and business development, with at least 4-5 years in a managerial role in the lift or related industry.
