Assistant Retail Store Manager

You will be responsible for maintaining the store to standards, including stocking and cleaning. Ensuring a consistent standard of customer service, processing refunds and exchanges, and resolving complaints will be among your key responsibilities. Additionally, completing tasks assigned accurately and efficiently, providing leadership, example, and direction to all employees, and motivating employees to ensure a focus on the mission are crucial aspects of your role. You will also be required to take disciplinary action when necessary, participate in hiring, training, and developing new employees, and assist the Supervisor in organizing an employee schedule and executing promotion material and in-store displays. Furthermore, you will need to ensure that health, safety, and security rules are followed, assist the Supervisor with sales records and bank-ins, verify invoice receipts, and study daily sales versus receiving data. Qualifications required for this role include being 18 years old or above, having a minimum secondary school education level, possessing initiative, responsibility, helpfulness, humility, courtesy, and decent dressing. You should have the ability to work autonomously and in rotation, including weekends and public holidays if needed. Leadership skills/character, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, basic math and computer skills, and experience working in a retail environment are also necessary.
