Assistant Restaurant Manager

The job involves overseeing daily operations of the restaurant, which includes opening and closing the restaurant to ensure smooth service. You will be responsible for staff management, which includes assisting in recruiting, hiring, training, and evaluating staff. Addressing customer complaints, answering inquiries, and resolving issues to ensure excellent customer service is a key part of the role. Additionally, you will be assisting with inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing costs. Financial planning tasks such as record-keeping and reporting will also be part of your responsibilities. Developing and managing employee schedules to ensure adequate staffing is essential. Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and standards is crucial for this position. Providing leadership and guidance to the restaurant team to foster a positive work environment is important. Identifying and resolving operational issues efficiently and maintaining effective communication with staff, customers, and other stakeholders are also key responsibilities.
