Job Description

1)

  • Developing, maintaining, overseeing and enhancing the Quality Management System (QMS), to ensure compliance with industry standards, internal and regulatory requirements, ultimately enhancing product quality and organizational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with various departments to implement quality strategies, conduct audits, and lead corrective actions, ensure that the organization not only meets but exceeds quality expectations, driving customer satisfaction and business success.

Role & responsibilities

  • Developing, maintaining, overseeing and enhancing the Quality Management System in alignment with industrial standard (ISO 9001, IATF16949, ISO 14001, etc.) and relevant regulations.
  • Document Management to comply with internal requirement, external requirement and standard.
  • Develop the Internal Audit Program and Internal Auditors, regularly audit processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Coordination of root cause analysis and actions plan including data follow up.
  • Work with various departments to embed quality into all aspects of operations.
  • Collect and compile data for the Management Review meeting. Work with Top management to complete the Management Review process and report, follow up any actions that need to be taken afterward.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions on quality standards, quality awareness and best practices, to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with Global Quality Management Team and other sites Quality Management to regularly exchange the best practices, lesson learnt.

  • Generate detailed reports on quality management system and present to direct supervisor and/or senior management.
  • Monitor and incorporate regulatory changes into the QMS to maintain compliance.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably from Automotive Industries.
  • Strong understanding of QMS, ISO 9001, IATF 16949 standards. Experience with ISO 14001, GRS, and the HIGG Index, and regulatory requirements is a priority.
  • Certification of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, Internal Auditor according to ISO 19011 are required.
  • Certification of ISO 14001, 5 core tools, VDA 6.3, VDA 6.5, Lean 6Sigma or equivalent certifications are added advantage
  • At least 7 to 10 years of experience in quality management or a similar role.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Local Language/ English fluently.
