Assistant QA/QC Engineer – Power Plant Industry (Kuwait)

Company Overview:

A reputed company in Kuwait's Petrochemical and Power Plant sector is urgently seeking a qualified and experienced Assistant QA/QC Engineer. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in quality assurance and quality control within the power or valve manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing and maintaining QA/QC procedures across site activities.
• Conduct inspections and testing of materials, equipment, and processes as per project specifications and standards.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of QA/QC documentation including reports, logs, ITPs, and method statements.
• Identify and report non-conformances, and assist in implementing corrective/preventive actions.
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, and client QA/QC teams to ensure compliance and quality deliverables.
• Support internal and external audits, and participate in technical evaluations when needed.
• Ensure adherence to ISO standards and project-specific quality requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Industrial / QA Engineering (or relevant discipline)
• ✅ Minimum 5 years of experience in Power Plants or Valve Manufacturing Contracts
• ✅ Good knowledge of QA/QC tools, welding and material inspection standards
• ✅ Familiarity with ISO, ASME, and API codes
• ✅ Excellent documentation and communication skills
• ✅ Gulf experience is preferred
