Position: Assistant Professor

Level: Entry Level (Fresher Eligible)
Location: Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo Bathinda Punjab
Reports to: Dean Department of Paramedical Sciences

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification:
• Master’s degree (Post Graduate) in Paramedical Sciences / Operation Theatre Technology / Medical Laboratory Technology or allied field from a recognized university.
• Ph.D. or enrolment as a Ph.D. Scholar in the relevant discipline (as per UGC regulations preferred).
• Experience:
• Freshers are eligible.
• Prior teaching, clinical, or research experience will be considered an added advantage.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in Paramedical Sciences.
• Conducting practical sessions in Operation Theatre Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology, and other allied fields.
• Designing and updating course material in line with UGC and industry standards.
• Guiding students in research projects, seminars, and dissertations.
• Assisting in departmental academic and administrative activities.
• Participating in curriculum development and accreditation processes.
• Engaging in research and publishing in reputed journals.
• Supporting institutional initiatives such as seminars, workshops, community outreach, and extension activities.

Key Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of Paramedical Sciences and allied technologies.
• Ability to conduct hands-on training in labs and clinical environments.
• Good communication and mentoring skills.
• Research orientation with interest in interdisciplinary collaboration.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹14,171.85 - ₹40,000.00 per month
