Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Professor specializing in Nutrition and Dietetics, located in Jalandhar. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for developing and delivering lectures, conducting research, mentoring students, and designing course curricula in the field of Nutrition and Dietetics. They will also be expected to contribute to academic administration, engage in interdisciplinary collaborations, assess student progress, and participate in department-based initiatives aimed at student success and program enrichment.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in teaching Nutrition Science, Diet Planning, and Clinical Nutrition
  • Strong research skills with the ability to publish in recognized journals and present at conferences
  • Exceptional verbal communication, academic writing, and presentation skills
  • Experience with educational technology, curriculum design, and student assessment methods
  • Ability to collaborate with peers, mentor students, and engage in departmental activities
  • A Master's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or a related field (Ph.D. preferred)
  • Prior teaching experience in higher education is a significant advantage
  • Commitment to fostering diversity, inclusion, and a supportive learning environment
