Assistant Professor

GITAM(Deemed to be University) is recruiting for Assistant Professor Positions in the Department of Operations and Supply Chain Management at the Visakhapatnam Campus

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Experience of teaching Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Business Excellence, Supply Chain analytics, Quality management, Supply Chain Analysis, Business Process Management or Management Science
• Faculty should provide tutoring and academic counselling to students, maintain class-related records, and assess student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities.
• Faculty typically reports to a department head.
• Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. Faculty may offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students. Typically this individual is a leader in the field and has been published.
• Industry experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Familiarity with experiential learning and online/hybrid instructional methods.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance program quality and student learning outcomes.
• Participate in departmental, college, and university service activities.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate relevant practices into teaching.

Education and Experience

• PhD from Accredited University.
• Prior teaching experience in a university setting
• Demonstrated research record or potential for scholarly productivity.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse learning environment.
