Assistant Production Merchandiser - Garments

Role Overview: You will be working as a full-time Assistant Production Merchandiser at Saku in Gurugram. Your primary responsibilities will include managing in-house production, sourcing, supplier management, and logistics coordination. You will be an integral part of the Production Merchandising team, overseeing in-house production, outsourced job workers, and vendor partners. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure alignment of raw materials, job workers, and production teams for timely delivery of production - Develop and maintain relationships with partners and vendors - Negotiate with suppliers for best costing - Create bill of material for bulk orders and production runs - Coordinate sourcing of raw materials and dyeing programs - Plan and align production resources for smooth production flows - Source and develop raw materials, trims, accessories, and job workers - Maintain detailed logs and updates for fabric, trims, accessories, sampling, production status, TNA updates, job work status, raw material consumption, ERP software updates, and production files - Keep production files up to date and maintain a library of lab-dip, accessories, and trims - Update master sheets for the website from techpaks Qualification Required: - 2-4 years of production merchant experience in retail brands, production houses, or export houses - Experience with in-house production teams is a plus - Experience with bulk and small custom production runs is a plus - Experience in startups is an added advantage - Excellent knowledge of fabrics, trims, accessories, and factory supplier base - Strong communication and relationship building skills - Strong organizational skills - Experience with ERP software is a plus - Graduate or postgraduate degree preferably in textile, apparel technology, or fashion technology.,
