Assistant Merchandising Manager

You are invited to join a reputed organization as an Assistant Merchandising Manager in the Merchandising WWR department located in Gurugram. As an Assistant Merchandising Manager, your primary responsibilities will include driving sales and identifying opportunities across WWR product categories, supporting strategic planning and execution of quality-assured products, collaborating closely with UK buying teams and Product Development, sourcing and negotiating with suppliers for optimal price, quality, and capacity, overseeing forecasting, margins, claims, and supplier production loadings, evaluating and developing suppliers including onboarding and training, leading and developing a high-performing team for efficient order management, continuously reviewing systems and processes for improvement, and managing vendor relationships to build strategic partnerships. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 10 years of experience in sourcing and merchandising, including a minimum of 4 years in a managerial role. You should possess a strong sourcing network and a deep understanding of UK market trends, along with proven leadership, negotiation, and project management skills. Excellent English communication and computer literacy are essential, and you should be able to work independently under pressure. Willingness to travel frequently is also required to excel in this position.
