The Basics

Location: South Mumbai

Working Days: Monday-Saturday (We offer significant working hour flexibility, see Work Culture section for more details)

CTC: 7.5L per year

Criteria:

·     Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant marketing/social media/content experience

·     Mumbai based (we will not provide financial assistance for relocation)

·     Open to a full-time, in-office role

·     Experience with beauty brands OR passion for Skincare/Beauty is a bonus

About Us

Raindus Beauty Care (no, this is not the brand name, just our holding company!) is in the business of building Personal Care for India. Founded by an ex-Nykaa Brand Manager, we’re building Body Care for smart Indian consumers.

What stage is our business at?

We’ve spent the last 12 months doing market + consumer research and are deep in the R&D process for our first launch. We’re prioritizing a slower, more data-driven approach to building our brand and are looking for team members that share these values.

What you can expect from the role:

Help set up and scale one of the most important engines of our business: content and consumer communications. You will be responsible for the following:

·     Help bring the brand to life alongside the founder: you will participate in key decisions on what a brand looks, feels and sounds like.

·     Designing core brand touchpoints closer to our launch: brand website, packaging elements, brand imagery and product photography.

·     Owning our consumer outreach- making sure we are constantly in touch with our consumers and doing useful, actionable consumer research.

·     Creating communications/outreach strategy across different channels: Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Email, WhatsApp and offline.

·     Execution: we’re an early-stage startup, so expect to do a fair amount of creative execution- whether that’s shooting, editing or writing. We’re not expecting you to do 100% of the creative execution yourself long term, but in the initial days, we want all team members to be hands on

·     Lots of ownership and trust.

·     A very flexible work environment by both startup + corporate standards.

What you should not expect from the role:

·     Exclusively planning/strategy led. You will be expected to execute.

·     High marketing budgets for you to work with. We’re an early-stage startup and need to be creative with how we make our budgets work harder for us.

·     We offer a lot of flexibility in where/when you work, but do not expect this to be a Monday-Friday 9-5. We are not the right fit if you’re in a season of life where you need that kind of work-life balance.
