Job Description: Assistant Manager – Warehouse Operations Location: Chandigarh (CCR) Company Overview: Theater is a dynamic and rapidly growing fashion start-up based in India. Position Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and driven Assistant Manager – Warehouse Operations to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the overall warehouse activities including picking, packing, inventory flow, and dispatch. You will lead a team to ensure timely order fulfilment while maintaining accuracy, safety, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Supervise the packing of goods to ensure products are prepared and dispatched in saleable condition. Oversee the picking process and ensure accurate selection of inventory against customer orders. Manage a team of pickers and packers, focusing on productivity, accuracy, and adherence to SLAs. Monitor daily order dispatches to ensure timely and accurate delivery. Maintain and update all fulfilment-related dashboards with a focus on data accuracy and transparency. Identify and resolve operational issues and bottlenecks in picking, packing, and dispatch workflows. Implement best practices in inventory handling and order management to reduce errors and improve efficiency. Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure a smooth fulfilment process. Maintain quality, safety, and cleanliness standards across the fulfilment center. Qualifications and Skills: 2–4 years of experience in warehouse, dispatch, or e-commerce fulfilment operations. Strong leadership and team management skills. Proficiency in using operational dashboards and Excel/Google Sheets. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to operational challenges. Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
