Job Description

We at Yusen Logistics (India) Pvt. Ltd. are hiring for Assistant Manager - Vigilance & Security for Hyderabad location.

Role & responsibilities

  • Undertake training and development of SLP teams (including Security Guards) in SLP processes and loss prevention techniques.
  • Build and maintain relationship with site level internal stake holders and external interfaces through interaction as per Vigilance guidelines on the subjects.
  • Investigate all cases of Thefts, Misappropriations, Misconducts as per defined process and follow-up with respective stakeholders for closure of actions.
  • Hands-on experience in report writing, Managing Security Operation Centre, IR handling, Liaison with govt agencies, Intelligence & Vigilance, Liaising with external stakeholders, Emergency response etc.
  • Carry out the Risk Assessment of company Assets and implement mitigation measures under the overall Risk Management framework of YLIN.
  • Support business for ensuring safe and secure environment for all customers, visitors, and employees within his jurisdiction.
  • Drive implementation of asset protection for all business sites of YLIN East Region in a comprehensive manner to include, deployment of security automation systems (SAS), physical deployment of Security manpower as per design basis.
  • Implement standard control measures such as Audits and other checks for the mapped sites.
  • Conduct periodic training of employees for fire and emergency response procedures as per the YLIN Policy.
  • Coordinate first response capability within your team to manage incidents and crisis situations to prevent risk to life and any damage to assets.
  • Support HR to create requisite deterrence against malicious shrink through training, process checks, and investigations and follow up and time bound closure with proper Learning from Incidents (LFI)
  • Create goodwill among local LEAs for information sharing, FIR filing support and legal follow up of cases (as required)
  • Support business during crisis situations through coordination with the Regional/Corporate Vigilance & Security Team.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Any graduate with at least 5 - 8 years in a 3PL, contract logistics, or E Commerce.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data validation).
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse security operations, fire safety, material movement, and access control.
  • Experience in CCTV surveillance and security system management.
  • Ability to handle emergency situations and crisis response.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
