As an Assistant Manager in Travel and Tourism, your role involves assisting in overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and supporting the overall business goals of a travel agency or related company. You will be responsible for various key tasks including: - Operational Support: Assisting the manager in day-to-day tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and maintaining operational efficiency. - Staff Management: Supervising team members, ensuring productivity, and potentially participating in recruitment and training activities. - Customer Service: Addressing customer inquiries, handling complaints, and striving to ensure customer satisfaction. - Budget Management: Assisting in monitoring and managing budgets, and potentially identifying cost-saving measures. - Sales and Marketing: Supporting sales activities by assisting in developing marketing strategies or identifying new market opportunities. - Travel Arrangements: Assisting with travel arrangements, including booking flights, hotels, and other travel components while ensuring adherence to company policies and budgetary constraints. - Reporting and Analysis: Preparing reports on travel expenditures, sales performance, and other relevant data to support decision-making processes. - Vendor Management: Collaborating with travel agents, airlines, hotels, and other service providers to secure the best rates and services. - Process Improvement: Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. - Problem-Solving: Addressing unexpected travel disruptions and making quick, informed decisions to resolve issues. Qualifications Required: - Previous experience in the travel and tourism industry. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. - Proficiency in budget management and reporting. - Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions. - Knowledge of sales and marketing strategies in the travel industry. This is a full-time position with benefits such as cell phone and internet reimbursement, performance bonus, yearly bonus, and work location being in-person with day, morning, and night shifts.,
