Key Responsibilities:

Logistics Coordination
Assist in planning and scheduling transportation routes, dispatch vehicles, and monitor deliveries to ensure timely and efficient operations.
Fleet Management
Support vehicle maintenance scheduling, coordinate repairs, and ensure the fleet complies with safety and operational standards.
Team Supervision
Help manage drivers and logistics staff, including shift scheduling, training, and resolving performance or operational issues.
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure adherence to transportation laws, safety regulations, and company policies. Maintain accurate documentation and support internal/external audits.
Cost Optimization
Monitor transportation expenses, analyze KPIs (e.g., fuel efficiency, delivery timelines), and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
Issue Resolution
Address transportation disruptions such as delays or breakdowns by coordinating with relevant stakeholders and implementing contingency plans.
Data & Reporting
Generate reports on transport operations, track performance metrics, and utilize Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to improve efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
5–8 years of hands-on experience in
transportation or fleet operations
.
Strong understanding of logistics workflows and fleet management.
Familiarity with TMS and other logistics software.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
