Role & responsibilities

Job Purpose

Non-IT recruitment

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Recruitment (Non-IT)

• Handle recruitment for

  shopfloor, plant operations, engineering, quality, maintenance, EHS, SCM, finance, HR, sales & commercial roles

  .
• Understand manpower requirements through workforce planning and discussions with

  Plant Heads, Department Heads, and HR leadership

  .
• Draft and finalize

  role-specific JDs

  aligned with manufacturing competencies.
• Source candidates through

  job portals , consultants, referrals, local sourcing, and industry networks

  .
• Screen resumes, conduct HR interviews, and coordinate technical / panel interviews.
• Ensure

  quick closures

  while maintaining quality of hire.

Plant & Shopfloor Hiring

• Manage hiring for

  workmen, supervisors, technicians, diploma engineers, ITI candidates

  , and staff.
• Coordinate

  local hiring drives, walk-ins, trade tests, and skill assessments

  .
• Liaise with

  training institutes, ITIs, polytechnics, and local agencies

  .
• Support bulk and seasonal manpower requirements.

Stakeholder & Candidate Management

• Act as a single point of contact between

  hiring managers, consultants, and candidates

  .
• Coordinate interview schedules and ensure timely feedback.
• Handle

  offer discussions, salary negotiations

  , and joining confirmations.
• Maintain strong candidate engagement to improve

  offer-to-joining ratio

  .

Onboarding & Pre-Joining

• Coordinate pre-employment checks, document collection, and joining formalities.
• Support smooth onboarding and induction for plant and corporate hires.
• Track joining status and attrition during probation.

Recruitment MIS, Vendors & Compliance

• Maintain recruitment trackers, dashboards, and hiring MIS.
• Share weekly and monthly recruitment status with management.
• Manage recruitment vendors and ensure

  cost-effective hiring

• Ensure compliance with internal recruitment policies, audits, and statutory norms.

Campus & Early Talent Hiring

• Support

  campus hiring, apprentice, trainee, and graduate engineer programs

  .
• Coordinate with colleges, ITIs, and technical institutions.
• Manage end-to-end campus recruitment processes.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of

  Non-IT roles in manufacturing

• Hands-on experience in

  plant & shop-floor hiring

• Ability to work with

  blue-collar and white-collar hiring

• Strong coordination, negotiation, and follow-up skills
• Knowledge of

  labor market dynamics and local sourcing

• Proficiency in MS Excel, ATS, and recruitment analytics

Qualification & Experience

• MBA / PGDM in HR

  or equivalent

• 810 years

  of experience in

  Non-IT Talent Acquisition

• Prior experience in

  manufacturing / plant environment

  is mandatory
• Exposure to

  bulk hiring, apprenticeships, and contract staffing

  preferred
