Key Responsibilities (KRAs):

Design and develop
LV and MV power cables
as per industry standards and customer specifications.
Select suitable conductor types, insulation, sheathing materials, and protective coverings based on application requirements.
Ensure compliance with relevant national and international standards (e.g., IS, IEC) related to electrical and mechanical performance.
Evaluate thermal performance, current carrying capacity, short circuit capacity, and voltage drop parameters.
Collaborate with production and quality teams during prototype development and commercial manufacturing.
Prepare detailed design documentation, bill of materials (BOM), and specification sheets for internal and external stakeholders.
Provide technical support to the sales and tendering teams for custom cable requirements.
Participate in product testing, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives based on field performance feedback.
Stay informed about evolving material standards, regulatory norms, and customer expectations in the power cable segment.
