Job Summary

Assistant Manager – HR (Generalist)

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Coordinate end-to-end hiring for staff and workmen categories.
  • Manage job postings, sourcing, initial screening, and interview scheduling.
  • Conduct joining formalities and smooth onboarding for new employees.
  • Maintain recruitment dashboards and monthly hiring reports.

2. Industrial Relations (IR)

  • Maintain healthy relations with workers, supervisors, and union representatives.
  • Handle grievance management, conflict resolution, and employee discipline cases.
  • Ensure compliance with factory laws, labour laws, and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with consultants for PF, ESIC, and statutory audits.

3. HR Operations

  • Maintain employee records, attendance, leave management, and HR databases.
  • Support payroll inputs, confirmation process, performance appraisals, and MIS reports.
  • Implement HR policies, SOPs, and ensure smooth day-to-day HR functioning.

4. Administration Responsibilities

  • Oversee housekeeping, security, and facility management coordination.
  • Manage visitor handling, office supplies, canteen, transport & general admin services.
  • Vendor coordination for admin services and cost control.

5. Employee Engagement

  • Plan and execute employee welfare activities and events.
  • Conduct HR communication sessions, feedback mechanisms and engagement programs.
  • Work to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

Key Skills Required

  • Strong knowledge of HR operations & IR
  • Good understanding of statutory compliances
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
  • Ability to handle employee queries and grievances
  • Strong coordination, follow-up, and documentation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree / MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or relevant specialization.
