Key Responsibilities: Monitor material readiness and report status daily to the reporting manager. Perform 100% inspection of finished goods at the packing stage. Ensure correct tagging and labeling of material as per customer requirements. Identify and report any non-conformities during inspection; hold or reject material as required. Communicate non-conformities to the respective departments via email or WhatsApp , and coordinate for timely resolution. Process material movement in SAP for dispatch readiness. Conduct empty container inspections and approve loading activities. Perform Pre-Dispatch Inspection (PDI) one day prior to shipment. Inspect materials during loading to ensure compliance with dispatch standards. Maintain and update daily reports on FGS plan vs actual material received. Ensure compliance with ISO systems and support audit documentation. Participate in continuous improvement using tools like 7 QC Tools, APQP, and PPAP . Position Overview: The Production Engineer will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production process, from design and development to implementation and optimization. Key Responsibilities: Process Optimization: Continuously assess and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization. Utilize tools such as Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and statistical analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions. Production Planning: Work closely with production planners and schedulers to develop production schedules that meet customer demand while maximizing productivity and minimizing downtime. Ensure that production plans are aligned with inventory levels, equipment capacity, and workforce capabilities. Equipment Maintenance: Collaborate with maintenance technicians and engineers to develop preventive maintenance plans for production equipment and machinery. Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions to production operations. Quality Assurance: Partner with quality assurance teams to establish and maintain quality standards for manufactured products. New Product Introduction (NPI): Lead the transition of new products from the design phase to full-scale production. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, logistics, and supply chain to streamline production workflows, resolve operational issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to ensure alignment and achieve common goals. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies. Promote a culture of safety awareness among production personnel and implement measures to mitigate risks and prevent workplace accidents. Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyse production data to track key performance indicators (KPIs), monitor process performance, and identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate findings and progress on improvement initiatives to management.
