Job Description

AM-Sustainability

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Implementation

  • Support the execution of the company's

    sustainability roadmap

    aligned with global frameworks (e.g., SDGs, GRI, SBTi).
  • Monitor

    progress against sustainability KPIs

    across business units (carbon footprint, water usage, waste reduction, etc.).
  • Assist in the

    integration of ESG goals

    into core business functions and supply chain operations.

Data & Reporting

  • Collect, analyze, and validate

    sustainability-related data

    from multiple departments.
  • Support the preparation of annual

    ESG/sustainability reports

    , disclosures, and submissions (e.g., CDP, GRI, BRSR).
  • Track global and national

    ESG regulatory requirements

    and align reporting accordingly.

Projects & Initiatives

  • Drive sustainability-focused

    projects

    such as plastic neutrality, renewable energy, zero waste to landfill, sustainable packaging, or carbon offsetting.
  • Coordinate with procurement, R&D, and operations to implement

    sustainable sourcing

    and eco-design practices.
  • Facilitate

    audits, certifications, and assessments

    (e.g., ISO 14001, Fair Trade, Sedex).

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Liaise with internal teams, NGOs, consultants, and regulatory bodies on ESG initiatives.
  • Build awareness through

    employee engagement programs

    , training, and sustainability campaigns.
  • Support

    consumer education

    efforts related to product sustainability (e.g., recyclable packaging, ethical sourcing).

Skills Required

  • Education:

    Bachelor's/Master's degree in

    Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Business

    , or related fields.
  • Experience:

    36 years of relevant experience in sustainability or ESG roles (preferably in FMCG, manufacturing, or consulting).
  • Familiarity with sustainability frameworks:

    GRI, TCFD, UNGC, SBTi, BRSR, SDGs.
  • Data Tools:

    Experience with

    data tools

    (e.g., Excel, Power BI) and sustainability platforms (e.g., Enablon, EcoVadis) is a plus.
  • Analytical and Project Management Skills:

    Strong

    analytical

    and

    project management

    skills.
  • Communication:

    Excellent

    written and verbal communication

    .
  • Attributes:

    Ability to work cross-functionally, manage multiple stakeholders, and a passion for sustainability.
