Position: Project Coordinator - Sustainability Location : Bangalore & Mumbai Employment Type : Full-Time Reports To: Sustainability Program Manager Job Summary: The Project Coordinator - Sustainability will play a key role in supporting the planning, execution, and monitoring of sustainability projects. This position involves coordinating with internal teams, external stakeholders, and vendors to ensure projects align with the organizations sustainability goals, including reducing carbon footprints, promoting renewable energy, and implementing eco-friendly practices. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about environmental sustainability. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assist in the development and execution of sustainability project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones. 2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, external partners, and community organizations to drive sustainability initiatives. 3. Gather, analyse, and report on project metrics, such as energy consumption, waste reduction, and carbon emissions, to measure impact and compliance. 4. Stay updated on sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices to propose innovative solutions for projects. 5. Organize workshops, training sessions, and events to promote sustainability awareness among employees and stakeholders. 6. Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, budgets, and compliance records. 7. Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure sustainable materials and practices are prioritized. 8. Ensure projects adhere to environmental regulations, certifications (e.g., LEED, ISO 14001), and organizational sustainability policies. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Project Management, or a related field. Experience: 3+ years of experience in project coordination or a related role. Experience in sustainability, environmental management, or corporate social responsibility (CSR) is highly desirable. Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project). Basic knowledge of sustainability frameworks (e.g., GRI, SDG, or ESG reporting).
