Assistant Manager - Supply Chain

As a Material Planning & Production Coordinator at Apotex Inc., your role involves ensuring effective and timely execution of material planning & production, lab scheduling, and regular review of materials inventory for expiring material. You will be responsible for creating Production and Lab Scheduling, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities to streamline processes. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Lab, Warehouse, and Logistics - Drive continuous improvement opportunities to streamline processes and improve accuracy - Demonstrate knowledge of Supply Chain and Materials Management Systems - Develop positive relationships and effective communication with all levels of management and departments - Utilize SAP/ERP/S4 HANA software effectively - Ensure readiness for RM execution, lab scheduling, production schedule execution, and meeting supply commitments - Handle Change control, Deviation, and CAPA through QMS Trackwise - Analyze capacity to determine scheduling limitations using RCCP Tool - Maintain open communication with various departments to support production activities - Ensure compliance with manufacturing practices, SOPs, and department work instructions - Manage inventory levels to minimize production risk and maximize inventory turns - Identify and drive adoption of Key Performance Indicators for Supply Chain success - Manage supplier relationships and develop partnerships for efficient material supply - Monitor Purchase Orders and expedite order fulfillment for on-time delivery - Implement and maintain an effective physical inventory system - Develop and lead planning strategies and oversee Supply Chain Planning Team activities Qualifications Required: - Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Science or Pharmacy - Sound knowledge in Manufacturing scheduling - Excellent communication skills (Verbal and written) - Good interpersonal skills - Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Hands-on experience in Trackwise application, SAP, Content Server, etc. - Minimum 5 years of experience in GMP Regulated Pharmaceutical industry At Apotex, fostering an inclusive and accessible work environment is a priority, where all employees are valued, respected, and supported.
