Assistant Manager - Sourcing

Product Sourcing

• Lead the end-to-end sourcing activities for products in womens wear & Mens Wear
• Manage and ensure adherence to the business process calendar (time and action plan)
• Share ideas and inputs with the design team on design and styling aspects of products
• Undertake market research to identify new opportunities and trends to drive innovation, lower costs and increase profit
• Collaborate with the relevant stakeholders in defining the target sourcing price and manage the sourcing to meet the target price
• Drive migration to the FOB model

Vendor Partner Management

• Identify, assess, negotiate, and finalize vendor partners in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders
• Drive the process of vendor partner consolidation to create operational advantage

Product Delivery

• Manage and ensure delivery of product to the warehouse as per defined timelines
• Manage and ensure delivery of salesman samples/Photo Shoot Samples as per defined timelines (from sampling units)

Quality Management

• Review and ensure that the proto samples meet the required specifications
• Quality check and audit of the final product.

Inventory Management

• Collaborate with the relevant stakeholders in driving efficiencies in inventory across all segments

Product upgradation

• Provide inputs on product reengineering, innovation, and product quality to enable product value creation
