Assistant Manager / Senior Engineer- Purchase

Role Overview: As a key member of the team, your main objective in this position is to handle the purchase of chemicals and other items. You will be responsible for assisting the DGM Purchase in sourcing chemicals, managing projects, and overseeing other commercial activities. Key Responsibilities: - Procurement Operations & Vendor Coordination: Manage the end-to-end procurement process, work closely with vendors to ensure timely deliveries, and align sourcing activities with internal requirements. - Costing, Negotiation & Process Improvement: Conduct vendor negotiations, identify opportunities for cost savings, and drive continuous process improvements within the procurement function. - Inventory Monitoring & Cross-Functional Alignment: Monitor inventory levels, collaborate with warehouse, production, and other teams to ensure availability of materials, and align with operational needs. - Reporting, Market Analysis & Compliance: Generate procurement reports on a monthly basis, analyze consumption patterns, research market trends and vendor pricing, and ensure compliance with internal procurement policies. Qualification Required: - Adaptable & Amenable - Analytical & Eager to Learn - Excellent Communication Skills (both oral & written) - Proficiency in Excel (SAP hands-on knowledge would be desirable) - Ability to join at the earliest convenience, preferably residing in the NCR region.,
