Assistant Manager-Sales-Intermediates

As a Sales and Account Management professional at our leading chemical company, your role will involve driving the business to meet or exceed targets for profitability and volumes in PAN India. Your responsibilities will include implementing the strategic business unit strategy, identifying and attracting new customers, pursuing new applications, and interacting with potential customers to ensure profitable future business. You will also be tasked with increasing market and competitor intelligence, managing credit control and working capital effectively, conducting market studies, and negotiating deals with customers while ensuring business compliance according to BASF policy. In terms of customer relationship management, you will be required to develop and execute mid- and long-term account plans, identify market opportunities, and develop differentiation strategies to improve competitive advantage. Building lasting customer relationships, ensuring high customer contacts, and regular visits will be essential for identifying business trends and enhancing customer experience. Your operational tasks will involve providing guidance and coordination to relevant functional departments like customer service, supply chain, and planning to ensure value creation and customer satisfaction. Utilizing customer feedback to continuously improve customer experience, being accountable for demand and sales forecast, and contributing actively to sales meetings will be crucial aspects of your role. Effective communication, adherence to business initiatives and tools, and ensuring faster decision-making processes will also be part of your responsibilities.
