Job Summary:

Production Engineer / Supervisor Coil Shop

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to daily and monthly

  production plans

  and achieve output targets.

• Mandatory:

  Hands-on experience in

  Coil Manufacturing Processes

  Fin Press, Hairpin Bender, Expander, Brazing (Manual & Auto), Coil Painting.
• Optimize utilization of

  manpower, machines, materials, and time

  to improve productivity and reduce process cycle time.
• Monitor and control

  WIP, rework, rejection, scrap, and downtime losses.

• Review daily production performance and take corrective actions to bridge gaps.
  
• Coordinate with

  PPC, QC, Stores, Maintenance, and other departments

  for smooth operations.
• Implement and sustain

  5S, Lean, TPM, and Kaizen

  practices on the shop floor.
• Ensure compliance with

  safety standards

  and proper use of PPE.
• Prepare and present

  monthly production performance reports

  to management.
• Train and develop team members for

  multi-skilling, productivity improvement, and waste reduction.

Technical Knowledge Required:

• In-depth understanding of

  Coil Shop processes

  – Copper Tube & Fin Handling, Hairpin Bending, Fin Pressing, Expanding, Brazing & Coil Assembly.
• Knowledge of

  Sheet Metal & Copper Tubing Workflows.

• Process and equipment parameters control in

  Coil, Tubing, and Header Manufacturing.

• Exposure to

  Machine Capacity, Cycle Time, OEE, Lean Manufacturing, SMED, FMEA, 7 QC Tools, TPM, and ISO 9001:2015 systems.

Software Skills:

• ERP (IOTA preferred)

  – Production Module

• MS Word & PowerPoint

  for reporting and documentation
