Assistant Manager- Product Marketing

Objective:

To support and drive product marketing initiatives by conducting market research, assisting in go-to-market strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role focuses on enhancing product positioning, customer engagement, and ensuring successful product launches through data-driven insights and innovative marketing approaches.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Market Research & Analysis:

  Conduct research on customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities. Provide actionable insights to influence marketing strategies.

• Pricing Support:

  Assist in developing pricing strategies that balance profitability and competitiveness.

• Product Positioning & Messaging:

  Contribute to defining product value propositions and differentiation strategies aligned with market demands.

• Go-to-Market Execution:

  Support planning and execution of product launches, promotional campaigns, and marketing activities.

• Channel & Customer Engagement:

  Coordinate trade schemes, exhibitions, and events to strengthen distributor and retailer relationships.

• Performance Tracking:

  Monitor campaign performance, sales growth, and ROI. Prepare reports and recommendations for leadership.

• Cross-functional Collaboration:

  Work closely with Sales, R&D, and Manufacturing teams to ensure alignment of marketing initiatives with product development.

Experience & Qualifications

• Experience:

  6-11 years in product marketing, preferably in electrical/FMEG industry (switches & switchgear preferred). Proven track record in supporting product launches and marketing campaigns.

• Skills:

  Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills. Proficiency in marketing tools and techniques.

• Education:

  MBA/PGDM in Marketing; Engineering background preferred.
