Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Identify, develop, and onboard new vendors to ensure cost competitiveness, and quality.

Develop and conduct regular vendor visits for capability assessment, process audits.
Collaborate with vendors to implement corrective and preventive actions on quality, delivery, and compliance issues.
Collaborate with Finance to manage vendor payables and enhance payment reliability.
Lead ERP implementation as per the project timeline and present a monthly Procurement Dashboard.
Maintain stock and consumption trackers for high-value and long-lead-time materials to ensure supply continuity.
Develop and maintain vendor evaluation scorecards, driving continuous performance improvement.
Oversee inbound material receipt, quality checks, and documentation to enable timely payment processing.
Ensure material readiness for N+2 production with zero input loss.

Preferred candidate profile

Education: B.Engg /Tech

Experience: 8-10 years in manufacturing procurement or stores.

Strong in vendor management, ERP, inventory control, and analytics.

Process-driven, proactive, and capable of cross-functional coordination

Experience with Oracle , SAP, Tally softwares
