Outsourced Operations-Manager

Role & responsibilities

Position Overview: The Outsourced Operations Manager will take ownership of

working with suppliers, driving them to achieve delivery – meeting quality, within cost

and on-time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Arrive at out-sourcing requirements in collaboration with engineering managers.

• Work with vendors to meet the plans by:

• Sending enquiries.
• Evaluating proposals in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Identifying resources to meet the demands.
• Onboarding the resources identified.
• Monitor quality of the resources during execution.
• Offboarding / transferring the resources on end of assignment.

• Ensure project demand and costs are in line with the budget.

• Report the demand versus fulfillment to various stakeholders including

management, global teams and finance.

• Regularly engage with vendors to nurture strong, long-term relationships.

• Conduct Business Reviews and Feedback Meetings covering performance

metrics with key stakeholders.

• Experience in contract management.

• Good negotiation skills.

• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficiency in data analysis.

• Good problem-solving skills; resourceful in finding solutions to challenges.

• Ability to adapt to changing business needs and environments.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Understanding of financial principles to manage budgets & analyze cost

structures.

Qualifications:

• 7-10 years of experience in vendor management, procurement or supply chain

management.

• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale, enterprise supplier

relationships.

• Experience working across geographies.

• Professional certifications in procurement or supply chain management are a

plus.

• Relevant MBA is a plus.
