Job Description

Job Title: Assistant Manager - Market Development Travel Friendly, 18 - 20 days in the field Excellent knowledge of MS Office Work in coordination with sales team Market knowledge of seed and fertilisers Market Analysis and Research: Conduct comprehensive analyses of regional markets to assess trends, consumer behaviors and competitive environment. Provide actionable insights to ZMs to inform strategic decision-making. Better Campaign Design: MDMs will leverage their local insights to develop impactful campaigns that resonate with the target audience, increasing brand awareness and customer loyalty. Coordinate with ZMs to ensure seamless execution and performance tracking. Strategy Formulation: Assist ZMs in formulating marketing strategies that are tuned to the requirements of each zone and aligned with overall company goals. This includes product launching & positioning, pricing strategies, channel expansion, market size and promotional activities. Implementation Support: Offer hands-on support to the sales team in implementing marketing initiatives and strategies effectively. Proactively address challenges to ensure the timely and efficient execution of plans. Market Intelligence: MDMs/Officers will gather valuable market intelligence, providing timely feedback to management for informed decision-making and staying ahead of market trends. Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for sales teams to enhance their proficiency in marketing concepts, campaign management and strategic planning. Develop a culture of continuous learning and skill development to deliver performances. Efficiency Improvement: Resource Optimization: By assigning MDMs/Officers to each zone, we can optimize resources and focus on specific market needs, leading to increased efficiency in marketing activities. Faster Decision-Making: With MDMs/Officers providing real-time market insights, decision-making processes will be faster and more informed, allowing us to respond quickly to changing market conditions. Improved Coordination: The presence of MDMs/Officers will facilitate better coordination between marketing and sales teams, ensuring seamless execution of strategies and initiatives. New Initiative / Projects Focus: Implementation & monitoring of new initiatives and different projects will be easy and focused - Mission Mithas, Tadka, Polyhouse, Organic Farming, Horticultural Crops, FPOs Linkage, and New Opportunities. Better Liasoning: Interaction with the agricultural departments, universities, KVKs will be increased
