Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Manager / Manager - Purchase & Planning located in Chennai. The role involves overseeing daily purchase and planning activities, collaborating with suppliers, managing inventory levels, and optimizing procurement processes to ensure timely delivery of materials.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, purchasing, and supply chain management
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• End to end purchase management
• Strong Knowledge in the Domestic/ International procurement procedures (Direct and Indirect Materials)
• Basic knowledge of Indirect Tax (GST, Customs Duty, etc.)
• Ability to understand & interpret BOM/Drawings /Specifications of engineering materials and equipment’s, New Product Developments.
• Added advantages if he/she comes from the Engineering Background
• Knowledge of SAP B1, MS Office, MS project management, CRM.
• Exposure to Production planning is an added advantage
• Knowledge of inventory management and planning processes
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities skills
• Positive communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Desired profile: MBA or PG Diploma in Material management or related field.
