Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Fitter cum Welder located in Ambattur. The Fitter cum Welder will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to fitting and welding activities in the manufacturing process. Responsibilities: Able to understand the manufacturing requirement and technical specifications from engineering drawings. Able to prepare stage fabrication setting/assembly documents. Able to prepare bill of materials for manufacturing including raw materials like pipes, sheets, channels & fittings etc., Responsible for the fabrication & production related activities, to deliver the complete finished assembly as per the engineering drawings, Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical components and systems. Perform welding tasks using techniques such as MIG, TIG, or arc welding. Conduct quality checks to ensure components meet specified standards. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Qualifications: Diploma certification or equivalent in Fitting, Welding, or Mechanical Engineering. Knowledge of pneumatic valves & pipeline assembly. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings. Knowledge in Welding different materials SS/MS Experience with various welding techniques and tools like TIG,MIG,ARC. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
