Assistant Manager / Manager – Marketing (Chemicals & Polymers)

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to Head – Sales & Marketing, responsible for handling overall activities pertaining to Sales & Marketing of various Chemicals & Polymers products and take active lead in the new business developments.

Responsibilities

• Support indent sales/marketing of chemicals & polymers.
• Implement strategies to boost sales and market share.
• Liaise with overseas principals & customers to close deals.
• Follow up with prospects via calls, emails, and visits.
• Visit clients regularly to maintain & grow business.
• Introduce new products and generate leads.
• Track pricing/market trends for business opportunities.
• Handle customer queries and provide solutions.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Coordinate with the team for smooth operations.

Qualifications

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry or Science; Marketing/Business diploma is a plus.
• 4–5 years’ techno-commercial experience in chemical/polymer/petrochemical sales.
• Strong communication, negotiation & time management skills.
• Analytical mindset with data analysis skills.
• Willingness to travel locally & internationally.
• Proficient in web research.
• Highly self-motivated.
