Assistant Manager Maintenance

Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and coordinate facilities maintenance workers to ensure efficient service delivery. - Plan and implement general maintenance services and repairs for the organization's facilities. - Schedule and conduct periodic inspections and tests of equipment to prevent malfunctions and service interruptions. - Inspect equipment and facilities to identify repair needs and assess the condition of physical structures. - Train maintenance staff in equipment repair and structural maintenance using manuals, work orders, and blueprints. - Requisition materials and supplies necessary for maintenance operations. - Maintain accurate records of repairs, problem areas, and maintenance activities. - Monitor and manage maintenance-related contracts with suppliers and third-party service providers. - Stay current with relevant regulations and ensure compliance from external contractors. - Report to the Facilities Maintenance Manager on maintenance activities and any issues that arise. Qualifications: - Familiarity with standard maintenance concepts, practices, and procedures. - Strong organizational and communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
