Role Overview:

We are looking for a business-oriented Legal professional to strengthen legal operations and risk management in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This role will focus on providing end-to-end legal support across corporate, commercial, regulatory, and operational matters, while closely partnering with business, operations, and leadership teams to enable scalable and compliant growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide end-to-end legal advisory support on corporate, commercial, and operational matters across EV battery swapping,charging, leasing, logistics, and allied services.
• Draft, review, vet, and negotiate a wide range of agreements including vendor contracts, OEM arrangements, service agreements, partnerships, debt transaction documents, and business templates.
• Advise internal stakeholders on legal risks arising from business models, partnerships, and operational scale-up, ensuring pragmatic and business-aligned solutions.
• Support interpretation and implementation of regulations applicable to the EV ecosystem, including motor vehicle laws, energy and battery-swapping guidelines, consumer protection laws, and central/state EV policies.
• Track regulatory and policy developments impacting EV operations and provide timely legal inputs to business and leadership teams.
• Provide legal advisory support on securities laws and listing-related requirements applicable to a listed company, including review of disclosures and regulatory communications from a legal risk perspective.
• Coordinate with internal litigation teams and external counsels on disputes, arbitration, regulatory proceedings, and consumer or operational matters; ensure proper tracking and documentation.
• Support fundraising, strategic investments, joint ventures, acquisitions, and restructuring initiatives, including legal due diligence and transaction execution.
• Advise on Companies Act, 2013 provisions, governance matters, and overall legal risk management in day-to-day operations.
• Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders including Operations, Finance, Compliance, Product, Supply Chain, andexternal partners to ensure seamless legal support for business execution.

Qualifications & Skills:

• LLB from a recognized university.
• 3-8 years of post-qualification experience in corporate legal roles, preferably in EV, mobility, infrastructure, energy, technology-driven companies, or a relevant law firm practice.
• Prior exposure to a listed company environment and working knowledge of securities and listing-related regulations is preferred.
• Strong understanding of corporate, commercial, and regulatory laws with the ability to apply them in operational contexts.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and legal risk assessment skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment with strong stakeholder management and execution mindset.
