About the job role:

The requirement of this role is to provide the Level-1 Support for all the End User Computer devices which includes Desktops, Laptops, Printers, Barcode scanner, Android Devices, production and non-production applications. The candidate will also be the part of the Zonal/Central Desktop Engineering Team to take the active participation in the roll outs/upgrades and management of Desktop Engineering related applications and infrastructure. He will also be responsible to support the zonal users in resolving complex system related issues. Candidate to assist and suggest the technology upgrades and related innovations required enhancing the customer experience and at the same time to take the lead to get the same implemented at all the sites once approved by the supervisors.

Job Responsibilities:

• Good exposure and hand-on knowledge in currently used Microsoft Operating Systems including migrations, upgrades and troubleshooting etc.
• Should have good hardware troubleshooting skills in desktop, laptop, printers etc. and have knowledge of Desktop/Laptop Imaging, Standardization, Security, management, Remote Management, Virtual Desktop Environment.
• Responsible for Level-1 Escalations on all the end user devices.
• Should be able to configure and troubleshoot Mobile devices, smart phones and tablets for Internet/Intranet, corporate applications etc.
• Should have exposure to Group Policies.
• Knowledge to any Helpdesk Ticketing /Call Monitoring System would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge and experience of configuring Windows Environment (DHCP, DNS, FTP, Group Policies, IIS)
• Knowledge and experience of Installation, Configuration & troubleshooting of MS Outlook, Windows live mail.
• Knowledge and experience of Troubleshooting LAN based network as well Wi-Fi and VPN related issue.
• Knowledge and experience of Knowledge of normal router configuration (DMZ, NAT, Port Forwarding)
• Knowledge of Remote Support tools Like VNC/TeamViewer/AMMYY etc.
• Knowledge and experience to identify, evaluate, prioritize and troubleshoot internal users problems and complaints.
• Knowledge and experience of IT inventory and IT Stock management.
• Should have knowledge of CCTV/DVR/Biometric installation and configuration.
• Responsible for Antivirus installation configuration and update, Windows update in Desktop and laptop.

Soft Skills

• Good communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written)
• Good documentation skills.
• Good working knowledge of MS OFFICE (especially Excel, Outlook)
• Able to handle unforeseen situations and pressure
• High level of acceptance

REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Education: Graduate in any Stream

Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years in similar role

Certification: MCSE/CCNA Certification

Technical Skills: 3-4 years of experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office 2013, Good Desktop Hardware troubleshooting skills, Good Mobile Device troubleshooting skills, Any Anti-Virus Software, Video Conferencing Systems.

PC Skills: 2-3 years supporting client end devices and peripherals.

Other: Strong ability to support all types of Business users
