Purpose of Role

The Assistant Manager – Indirect Taxation will be responsible for managing end-to-end GST
compliance, advisory, audits, and litigation support in accordance with Indian indirect tax laws, ensuring accurate reporting and risk mitigation

Position Demands

Qualifications & Experience

CA / CMA / LLB / MBA (Finance – Taxation preferred)
2-5 years of experience in Indian indirect taxation
Strong knowledge of GST laws and compliance

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

GST Compliance & Returns

Timely filing of GST returns including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9/9C
Review GST liability, ITC eligibility, reversals, and reconciliations
Ensure compliance with e-invoicing and e-way bill regulations
Manage GST registrations, amendments, cancellations, and LUTs

Reconciliations & Reporting

Monthly and annual reconciliations between books and GST returns
Support statutory and GST audits
Resolve mismatches and portal discrepancies
